Sweet Angel on Sunday. . . but not so angel-like on Monday

So maybe we should talk to Chloe about being one way at church and another at home, but we assumed she was too young to understand that.  Oh well – I guess we were wrong!  (Again! :)

Here she is in her pretty little red dress.  Very angelic-like, don’t you think?

“Here. Mom, let me fix your necklace!”

Here, she’s waving (and saying!) Buh-Bye to some nice people in our church – still very angelic-like!

. . .

but this is where the tide turns.  When we’re no longer at church – watch out! :)

Notice the really healthy lunch on her tray – oranges, whole wheat bread, cheese. . . and she pulled the chocolate chips off the counter, AND opened the bag on her own, THEN poured them all over the counter and the floor!  I love the “guilty” face. :)

“What chocolate chips,  Mom?”

“If you’ll forgive me, Mom, I still have some chocolate to eat.”

“Yes! That camera got me out of trouble again!  Now, I wonder what I can do tomorrow. . .”

Pool Party with Emma!

So, with our warm weather it was about time that Chloe and I hosted a pool party!  We’re so excited to be able to have guests over that we had them over before we had even blown the pool up (that was a lot of fun without an air compressor!). :)  Here’s a few shots of the fun we all had!

In this next picture – Chloe really is trying to give Emma a hug – not knock her over. . . even though that is what eventually happened. . . :)

I had made some little chocolate chip cookies, and Chloe was really enjoying them! :)

And here’s a short video clip of the day – enjoy, Nana! :)
